Hell Razors Cape Town

Ek sit hier en het geen woorde nie. Ek blaai deur die talle fotos om op die website te sit en die beste herhinderinge hardloop deur my gedagtes. Sy manier van praat, grappe maak en lag. Ons neem afskeid van die ligende Francois van Dyk. Francois was 'n unieke mens. Dit is die tipe persoon wat jy dink jy gaan donner wanneer jy hom ontmoet, en dan leer mens vir Francois ken, en daai unieke vriendskap groei tot 'n gehegde vriendskaps band. Francois het die spontane gawe gehaad om jou maak lag, al is jy in watter mood. Ek blaai deur talle fotos en kan amper nie een kry waar hy net normaal vir die kamera kyk nie. Daar is altyd 'n funny gesig getrek of een of ander iets. Met die go-carts het ek gedink, wag, hier is my kans, hulle span het gewen, en daar is mos 'n groep foto geneem, en waragtag, hy sal die enigste een wees met sy helmet op... Dit is hoe ons vir Francois onthou, grapgat en altyd iets wat jou maak lag.

Francois my mater, jy is weg geruk uit ons lewens uit. Ons as jou Hell Razors broers en susters gaan jou ontsettend baie mis. Die lekker lag dae, die net plain simpel wees dae en beslis jou spontane manier van dinge doen gaan beslis baie gemis word. Ek wens so dat ons nog een laaste dop saam kon drink, nog 'n keer jokes maak en lag, en nog 'n keer vir jou se jy moet mooi ry, jy het 'n vinnige yster. Ek wou jou nog terug kry vir die Cobra Rally wat jy my daai varkdoppe gegooi het, maar my kanse het nou uit gehardloop, jy het daai ronde gewen chom!

Ek neem afskeid van 'n goeie vriend & broer. Rus lekker Francois & Ride the sky. Tot ons weer ontmoet!

Where do I start...is what I am asking myself...so the beginning I thought and
suddenly I am smiling again as I think back to the rally where I met the Hell Razors
en Boeta Fransie..He came up to me and poured his whiskey into my glass. Unbeknown
to him or myself we drank the same brand, listen to the same music and we both love
motorbikes and that's where our journey as best friends began.

I have endless stories about the two of us, sharing tents together on a single
mattress, stealing my ice out of my coolerbox, but replacing it with whiskey (not to
mention the AK47). My partner in crime, brother from another mother, china from
another vagina...these are his words he always told me. I took it to heart as I
loved him very much. We were inseparable to say the least. When Francois needed a
shoulder to cry on, I was there, when I needed his shoulder, he didn't even phone,
he took it a step further and would visit me as soon as he could...always !!

Francois was a good person, a kind person, a person I could always rely on and a
person who told you like it is, what you see is what you get !

Being a Hell Razor was a start of a friendship that we never expected. My dearest
friend who I will forever treasure in my heart and one day look forward to seeing
him again. I know that he loved us very much and he always spoke of the club highly
and all its members...never a dull moment with francois around. Where ever he went
he made an impact on people.

As a Hell Razor and a friend all I can say is that I am privileged to of had a
friend like Francois !

Ter nagedagtenis aan n groot vriend.

"Ons trap baie spore in die sandduine van die lewe, maar in die oggend het

die nagwind dit weggewaai.Als is verganklik BEHALWE die OMGEE vir mekaar

en elke dag se GENADE van BO".

Sag rus my vriend en dankie dat ek die voorreg gehaad het om die laaste

paar ure van jou lewe hier op aarde saam met jou kon spandeer.

In memory of a beloved friend.

Just want to say thanks for knowing a great friend like Francois, it was

always great times when he was with us and he will be missed by all that

knew him.

Just something in memory of Francois as well as for his family he left

behind.

May the road rise to meet you; May the wind be always at your back; May

the sunshine warm on your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields,

We, the East Rand chapter would like to send our deepest sympathies and condolences for the tragic loss of Hell Razor Francois van Dyk this last Friday evening (12/16/2009)
We wish you and Francois’s family all the strength to deal with such a sudden and tragic loss to a great friend and brother. His loss will be sorely missed by all that knew him.
We East Rand members who got to know Francois will remember him as a great fun loving character, good company to be with and very strong in opinion and a dedicated member of the Hell Razors, Cape Town. His antics and jokes will be sorely missed by those who were close to him – we are truly sorry for such a terrible thing to happen so soon after we buried a fellow brother 3 weeks back. I know that both Hein and Francois will be enjoying each other’s company up there in the sky.
All strong’s to the Cape Town chapter, Francois family and friends. Until we meet again, keep riding with a smile on your face, the wind in your hair and your troubles behind you.
